I selected Darlene and her company Van-Garde Imagery to handle my project after carefully reviewing more than a dozen other competing companies on elance. I chose well.
As soon as she was awarded the project she set about expediting the job almost immediately. She stayed on task and finished the project within the agreed upon time frame. Corrections and edits to the original book layout were handled wonderfully and in a timely manner, allowing me to move onto the final preparations to prepare the book to go to the printer.
Darlene is professional and easy to work with. It would be tough to go wrong choosing Darlene to handle the layout and typesetting of your book. I probably would have had her work on the book cover design but as it was, I was pretty far along in that endeavor using another provider.
