This book had a classic scholarly design which prompted the use of "oldstyle" numerals throughout the text. Though this was not a problem in itself, what made for some extra work was the fact that all of the footnote superscript numerals were *not* oldstyle. However, Adobe inDesign was easily up to the task as automatic text replacement could be done based on searching for attributes such as superscript. So we simply did a "replace all" of all instances of superscript and changed the font of just those instances.
